The Devil Made Me Do It

Dear Skeptic Devil,

Before we proceed, I must offer a candid warning: there’s no guarantee that my words will resonate with you and bring you the satisfaction you seek. With full disclosure, I did edit your original note for brevity's sake. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share my perspective.

Having perused the numerous letters exchanged within your small group regarding this enigmatic woman, I find myself hesitating to pass judgment. While I would typically wield my pen to craft a compassionate discourse, relieving you of the burdens that weigh upon your troubled soul, an inexplicable caution holds me back.

True, my team continues to diligently investigate this elusive blogger — a veritable recluse amoungst bloggers worldwide. Be that as it may, I do not endorse her behavior in the slightest. Yet, a lingering question eludes me: what fuels her unyielding animosity?

Is this a classic case of “he said, she said”? A reciprocal exchange of grievances? Perhaps akin to two dogs barking into the night, their original cause of discord lost in the echoes? Or could it be a battle of egos between keyboard warriors, each vying for omnipotence and online supremacy?
