“Why choose the name “Anne Slanders”?”

The historical origin of Anne Slanders traces back to the early 1960s when it emerged as a politically charged pseudonym. Initially, it appeared as a contributor in publications like The Summation (Spring 1961) and became associated with numerous political commentaries.

However, my approach differs from my predecessors. I deliberately adopt the name “Anne Slanders” for its humorous and satirical connotations. Politics rarely captures my interest; it tends to bore me. To those who doubt its authenticity, let me clarify: This concept was not pilfered; it stands as a unique creation. Others have attempted, but many have faltered.

Rest assured; I intend to remain a presence for some time to come.
